The reason why Link hates being called Peter Pan is because PP is a Disney character, and Link despises Disney, especially on how much the company has changed.* Link usually likes to annoy Mario by calling him a “fat Italian plumber”(which is pretty harsh and offensive), while Mario likes to think that Link is a rip-off to Peter Pan. He tries his best to be humorous and laughs at almost anything. He is also envious, whiny, and a bit selfish at times. In VAF, Link is rather very talkative, energetic, and is considered very annoying. He is known to be a courageous fighter and powerful hero, which makes him the Mater Sword’s chosen one. For some launching power, use the side smash attack.Link in the canon is usually silent and almost never speaks (except in the CDI games and the TV series). Also, his up special Spin Attack keeps him airborne longer than Link's version. His bombs can be thrown in all directions, damaging or distracting your foes. Toon Link's Bomb move doesn't deal much damage, but the blast radius is pretty big. ![]() His small size gives him extra speed, though, so take advantage of that to send your foes flying. In Smash Bros., he uses moves much like his older, taller counterpart. This cartoonish version of Link is how he appeared in The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker and a few other titles. Toon Link also has three trophies available: He also received an Amiibo based on his artwork from this game. Toon Link returns as a fighter once again in Super Smash Bros. It allows Toon Link to summon blocks of sand and the Spirit Train. This allows him to use various moves based on his sword techniques in The Wind Waker, including leaping over enemies' heads with his strong attack. Toon Link's default weapon is the light-element Light Sword. Weapons Light Sword Main article: Light Sword In Hyrule Warriors Legends and the Definitive Edition, he can be unlocked by completing square B-9 of the Great Sea map in Adventure Mode. In the Wii U game, Toon Link is unlocked by purchasing the Legends Character Pack DLC. Instead of speaking or having Proxi say his lines like Link and Young Link, Aryll speaks for him. He has two different weapons which include moves from both The Wind Waker and the DS titles, Phantom Hourglass and Spirit Tracks. Toon Link appears in Hyrule Warriors as a playable character. He fights relatively the same as Link, but he moves faster. His appearance is heavily based on The Wind Waker. Toon Link appears as a playable character in Super Smash Bros.
